
He holds a Master’s in Digital Arts from “École Supérieure des Arts de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles” (Belgium) and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Guanajuato (Mexico).
His work explores the intersection of digital innovation, immersive storytelling, and aesthetic refinement, with a focus on creating multi-sensory, immersive visual experiences. He has exhibited in Belgium, Canada and Mexico, and contributed to creative projects in France.
Beyond visual media, Ismael also composes and produces his own music. He has completed music theory and sound design courses at The University of Edinburgh and SAE Institute in Mexico, and is currently studying classical guitar to deepen the expressive quality of his sound work.
Ismael has further refined his approach to interactive and generative design through workshops and research at NUMEDIART, the digital arts research center at the University of Mons.
He has also collaborated on interdisciplinary projects with dance companies, musicians, and performers, exploring the fusion of movement, sound, and digital media.
Comfortable navigating both artistic and technical realms, he integrates tools like Processing, Blender, Unity, TouchDesigner, and AI platforms (Midjourney, Lumalab), using coding as a creative tool to enhance concept development and execution.
